As we move forward towards AS9100 rev. D registration, we're finding news ways to use CETEC ERP as part of the Quality process. As an example, CETEC provides some basic aspects of AS9100 compliance such as: 1) Providing vendor on-time delivery reports. 2) having the ability to set the vendor as active or inactive Few other processes that we're putting in place to manage a vendor's compliance would be 1) Use the Vendor Page to track Vendor's "Risk Level". The thought here would be that, along with the COTO / Risk Excel Spreadsheet, we could keep track of the Risk Level through CETEC ERP, and then use the Notes Field with custom "Risk Assessment" Topic for the Vendor to track dates in which vendor Risk assessments are performed. This would allow us to Search Notes, based on Vendors, Based on Risk Assessments and see a history to the changes of a vendor's risk. 2) Use the Vendor's page to track Vendor's "business type".
