It's been a while since I've posted on this forum but I thought putting something up today would be fitting. I just returned from the inaugural CETEC ERP User Conference in Austin TX and I had a great time. It was refreshing to meet other people who use the same software I've come to enjoy using, and see how they approach it from different angles due to a wide variety of business types and what they want to software to do for them (some just BOM-related, other Financials, and a few who use the whole kit and caboodle).
I'd like to thank the awesome folks behind the success of CETEC ERP for bringing us users together to this conference and sharing with us their story. It's through these meetings that I believe users will start to see the benefits of CETEC ERP and how it can further enhance the success of a company. It also allowed us a peek into the inner workings of running a software company and understanding of all the hard work that goes into not only making CETEC so functional and user-friendly but the thought process behind updating, supporting and future-proofing the product. This will give me pause the next time I send out a terse support request ticket.....It's good to see that this company is not resting on their laurels (like many other ERP systems I've run across) and spending considerable engineering efforts trying to further capture the SMB ERP market. Hopefully we'll get to do this again next year!
